The new offering, which is called Noon Daily, is set to be rolled out across Saudi Arabia later this year.
The move comes following the recent launch of Noon Food, a restaurant delivery service that was announced earlier this month and will also be rolled out across Saudi Arabia later this year. Thus far, Noon Daily has been launched in Riyadh and provides customers with the option to make an order and pay online. The order will then be delivered to their doorstep.
Maya El Ayach, Head of Growth and Digital Strategy at Noon, commented: “We have the largest last mile fleet in the region, and three huge customer fulfilment facilities in the Kingdom, all fully operational and working to the recommended health and safety guidelines.”
El Ayach also commented that across the entire Noon platform, the company has witnessed a recent spike in home and fitness purchases, while toys and home-learning products also saw a spike in interest.
