Trademark Property Company have been hired to redevelop and manage the 1.3 million square foot mall location.
North Point Mall has been transferred from their owner, Brookfield Property to its lender, New York Life. Now, New York Life has appointed Trademark Property to transform the once dominant mall into a mixed-use property.
The mall currently has more than 125 tenants and plans are now in motion to develop an 83-acre mixed-use development that will feature apartments, restaurants, new retail areas, small parks, a rock wall, a play fountain, and a lake.
“Mixed-use and retail repositioning is clearly the path to long-term sustainability moving forward. We are excited to work with the city, tenants, and other stakeholders in transforming North Point for long-term success. This is truly a top regional location for a variety of uses,” commented Jeff Johnson, Trademark Executive VP.
