The shopping centre, situated in Torrejón de Ardoz, opened its doors at the end of 2021 and is already exceeding expectations.
Upon opening its doors to the public, Oasiz Madrid forecasted reaching 10 million visitors in its first year of operations; however the shopping centre has already exceeded this initial forecast, closing 2022 with 12.5 million visitors and users.
Luis Simon, Director of the Complex, said on the news: “We are very proud of the influx results. This is the result of the work carried out by all the teams involved on a day-to-day basis, with a special mention to the leasing team, which has obtained new operators at the centre.”
In recent months, the centre has continued to reinforce its commercial offer with the incorporation of much-loved brands such as Nike, which opened the doors to a 1,000sq m outlet; sports distribution chain Decimas; Primor; Desigual and Pull & Bear.
Built on the old Open Sky, Oasiz Madrid offers a gross leasable area of 90,000sq m and is the first project in Spain for French developer Compagnie de Phalsbourg.
