The company is the new “style and culture” curator of AC Milan and as part of the deal; the luxury streetwear brand founded by Virgil Abloh will supply clothing for the club’s men’s and women’s teams in red and black.
The uniforms resulting from this new partnership made their debut on 5 October when Stefano Pioli’s team travelled to London for their Champions League match against Chelsea.
The agreement between the two companies starts from the sharing of the same values and the need to bring about positive change. The “Wear your heart on your sleeve”, phrase is based on the “I Support” claim introduced by Abloh in 2020, which represents each partner’s support for a set of ideals and stands up for the community.
The slogan “I Support” debuts in a video that features a series of typical objects from the world of football bearing the branding of the slogan and in the background, the voices of current footballers of AC Milan.
