The partnership is an integral part of the health and beauty stores plans for their global expansion.
Olive Young was first introduced in Korea in 1999, when it opened its first store. Since then, the brand has grown to become one of the leading providers of health and beauty products across the region. The brand already has an extensive bricks-and-mortar operation, with a total of 1200 stores across Korea. The Olive Young Global System also allows customers from close to 150 countries across the world to have items delivered.
The company hopes that by partnering with Shopee they can take another step closer to becoming the ‘Global Lifestyle Platform’ for all people across the world. Initially, Olive Young will begin by selling around 300 items of their six house brands on the Shopee platform. The brands, Wake Make, Colorgram, Round Around, Botanic Heal Boh, Bring Green and Filli Milli – are all exceptionally popular with customers and are expected to be popular sellers on the platform.
The items will initially be available in Indonesia and Malaysia first.
