Oman has now announced that it plans to construct an iconic landmark on the scale of the Eiffel Tower.
“Similar to landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the proposed landmark would also function as a destination to attract tourism into the country. The Sultanate of Oman is endowed with rich natural, heritage and cultural resources that make tourism one of the most important sectors to focus on for the aim of achieving economic diversification.
