Universal Orlando Resort has announced that the new Jurassic World VelociCoaster will be launching at the Florida attraction on June 10, 2021.

Branded as the most intense coaster experience at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure, the highly-anticipated Jurassic World VelociCoaster will finally debut on June 10, 2021. The fastest and tallest launch coaster will fling thrill seekers 155 feet in the air travelling at 70 mph alongside a pack of terrifying Velociraptors called Blue, Charlie, Delta and Echo.

The Jurassic World cast including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong reprise their characters as Owen Grady, Claire Dearing and Dr Henry Wu, respectively for the VelociCoaster.

The rollercoaster was created and designed by Universal Creative in collaboration with filmmakers from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Riders will be immersed in the Jurassic World environment, seeing detailed rock work and incredible landscaping before travelling 4,700 feet of track including a barrel roll above the lagoon at Islands of Adventure.
