The Spanish optical chain + Vision has launched a new store concept and a new commercial format that is already implemented in three of its establishments.
This vision has already been installed at stores within the Vialia Estación de Vigo (Galicia), Parquesur (Madrid) and Splau (Barcelona) shopping centres.
“The new store
concept helps us to reinforce the role of experts in visual health and to offer
a variety of products suited to the visual needs of customers at the price they
are looking for,” a spokesperson from the company explained.
+ Vision will bring this new establishment proposal to six new opticians in its
commercial network. The chain of opticians has been integrated since 2008
in the Dutch-based group GrandVision; thus, Spain will not be the only
market in the conglomerate to implement a new store concept, but this movement
is also taking place in countries such as France, the United Kingdom,
Germany and the Netherlands.
+ Vision, which operates with a network of 83 establishments, was born in 1995 with the opening of its first opticians unit in Barcelona and gained market share and presence until, in 2008, it became part of the European group GrandVision, present in 40 countries with 7,200 stores.
