For Arket, it will be only the second store in the city. Opening at an unspecified date next year, it will be located on Götgatan in Södermalm, close to the brand’s design studio and head office.
As well as its second Stockholm store, it will only be its third physical location in Sweden following previous openings in Gothenburg and on Drottninggatan in the capital’s centre. The brand was launched in 2017 and the store rollout has been taken at a relatively slow pace.
Meanwhile & Other Stories is to open its fifth store in Sweden next spring. Like the Arket store, it will be on Götgatan, Södermalm in Stockholm. It follows a successful pop-up.
Lina Söderqvist, the retail brand’s Managing Director, said: “We have felt right at home on Götgatan since we opened our pop-up concept there over a year ago. Therefore we are very excited that we now will be able to welcome our customers in Södermalm to a permanent store filled with the latest of our feminine and expressive collections.”
