Little Lion Entertainment and Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced the launch of the PAC-MAN Live Experience in the UK, promising a new approach to location-based entertainment.
This collaboration aims to merge the nostalgia of the classic PAC-MAN video game with cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) technology, offering players a unique opportunity to step inside the world of this beloved arcade franchise.
Little Lion Entertainment, a company well-versed in creating immersive attractions such as Chaos Karts, Tomb Raider: The Live Experience, and The Crystal Maze Live Experience, has partnered with Bandai Namco, the renowned publisher behind global game franchises like Elden Ring and Tekken. This partnership seeks to elevate the PAC-MAN brand by creating a dynamic live-action game that connects the digital and physical realms.
In the new attraction, participants, or “PAC-People”, will navigate through a series of AR-enhanced mazes to collect classic elements such as “power pellets” and fruit while evading the iconic ghosts. The game combines real-world movement with digital visuals, creating an interactive environment that mirrors the classic game while adding fresh challenges. The venture builds on Little Lion Entertainment’s expertise in creating fully immersive environments, now further enhanced by Bandai Namco’s deep understanding of the PAC-MAN universe.
