The ethical clothing brand has partnered with Galeries Lafayette to reveal its first physical brand experience in France.
The temporary exhibition is located at the luxury department store in Paris and the label has developed an immersive experience inspired by its commitment to ‘high tech naturalism.’ Pangaia and Galeries Lafayette have worked together to create a climate positive environment, offsetting the carbon footprint of the space.
The circular formatted store intends to educate visitors on material innovations that have been developed by the brand. When entering the space, guests are welcomed with a peppermint garden that references the label’s Pprmint trademarked technology, which uses natural peppermint oil in fabric fibre to keep clothing fresher for longer.
The space also highlights other concepts including the brand’s C-Fiber innovation, a fusion of eucalyptus pulp and seaweed forming an alternative to cotton, and Flwrdwn, that has been created and is used as an alternative to synthetic and animal down.
In a nod to its roots in science, Pangaia offers storage in the form of a periodic table, in keeping with its educational message.
