The South Korean café-bakery chain says it will reach nearly 150 US stores by the end of 2022 and is ‘on track to exceed’ an ambitious goal to open 1,000 stores in the country by 2030.
Paris Baguette America is gearing up for further US outlet following a positive year of trading. The South Korean café chain’s US business posted 42 per cent year-on-year sales growth for its 2022 financial year, with like-for-like sales growing 31 per cent.
Paris Baguette America said it was on track to open 40 new outlets by the end of 2022, which would bring its total US store count to around 150 stores.
The chain said it would now accelerate outlet growth, with 96 new cafés slated to open 2023, and that it was on track to exceed an ambitious goal to open 1,000 US stores by the end of the decade.
“The increased interest we’ve seen in franchise agreements and rapid expansion through new store openings at Paris Baguette is a testament to the success we’ve seen by focusing on the elevated bakery café experience and creating an emotional connection with our guests,” said Darren Tipton, CEO, Paris Baguette America.
