The €45M investment has seen the complete renovation of the entire centre.
Parque Corredor currently offers the widest commercial offer in the Northwest area of Madrid, both in food and fashion as well as services and leisure. The centre occupies an area of 123,000sq m, and includes a Alcampo hypermarket, 9 cinemas, a bowling alley with 24 lanes and a sports centre with capacity for 3,000 guests.
The renovation has been largely focused on the centre’s interior – the width of the corridors has increased by up to five metres and new access doors to ensure proper facilitation for the 11 million customers who usually visit the centre each year. Large skylights have been installed to ensure full and natural lighting and the entrances, façade and parking lot have also been renovated.
Many of the brands have taken this advantage to renovate their stores to keep them in line with newly implemented hygiene and safety requirements amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
