To celebrate the launch of the new Paula’s Ibiza 2022 collection, the Spanish label will open five pop-ups in the Bel Paese this summer.
One will be in collaboration with Rinascente, in Milan, two with Tessabit in Como, and two others with the Cuccuini multi-brand store, one in Forte dei Marmi and one in Sardinia, in Porto Cervo.
Loewe Paula’s Ibiza is an annual capsule
collection that celebrates the hedonistic passion of summer on the
island. The collection revives the bohemian style of the original Paula’s
boutique, founded in 1972 by Armin Heinemann in the historic center of
Ibiza. Decades later, Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson discovers
Paula’s vintage pieces and revives the brand.
The caspule collection will consist of bags that include Puzzle, Goya, Hammock
and Amazona, as well as handcrafted baskets in degradé colours inspired by the
sunsets of Ibiza, while the natural baskets are hand-woven with eye-catching
stripes or embellished with oversized Anagram in calfskin or raffia. The line
is characterised by graphic prints, tight silhouettes and contrasting hems with
loose sweaters, t-shirts and tight shorts, with cactus-shaped motifs.
La Rinascente in Milan hosts a pop-up and a showcase dedicated to the Paula’s Ibiza collection from 3 May to 3 June. The pop-up offers the collection of accessories, baskets, perfumes and fragrances for the home, personalisation and eyewear in a space of 41sq m, which also includes a take-over of God Save The Food café.
