The Spanish jewellery brand PdPaola is making progress in the Italian market and is opening a boutique in Rome this October, at Via Frattina 76. This is its second store in the country, in addition to the one it opened in Milan in spring 2023.
PdPaola has chosen a 70sq m store to open in Rome. The establishment combines warm colours, natural materials and contemporary design displays to create an “intimate and sophisticated” atmosphere, the brand explains in a statement. The first Roman point of sale of the Catalan brand sells its various product lines, including fine jewellery and laboratory diamonds.
With this opening, the brand “reinforces its long-term expansion strategy in Italy, one of its three main markets in terms of turnover and reflects the brand’s commitment to strengthening its connection with its Italian customers,” the brand adds.
Founded in 2015 by siblings Paola and Humbert Sasplugas, PdPaola, which was aiming for €45M in 2023, came to the market as a digitally native brand, but is now a global firm with a multi-channel presence. Its retail network is made up of around thirty stores spread across markets such as Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru and Andorra.
