The brand has opened their latest store, occupying around 2,900sq m in the Tegel district of Berlin.
This new location means that Peek & Cloppenburg is now present in eight locations in Berlin. The ground floor of the Tegel district store houses the men’s department whilst the women’s department is available in the basement.
The opening of the new store was celebrated with live music, a styling lounge, candy bar and barber stand. As a particularly special highly, customers were able to have their new styles personalised on site at a stitching stand.
The new location is part of a large-scale pedestrian zone Gorkistraße / Tegel Quartier project developed by HGHI. This project includes the extensive modernisation and expansion of the entire 250-metre-long pedestrian zone Gorkistraße including the former Tegel-Center shopping centre, the former Hertie department store and the traditional Tegel market hall. The revitalisation and transformation of this pedestrian zone is one of the largest projects of the HGHI and consists of a total of four extensive construction phases.
