With a space of about 100 square meters, the British firm Pepe Jeans makes its return to the Colombian market and settles in the Chipichape shopping centre in Cali.
The landing of the banner in the country is part of its international expansion plan. The AWWG group, owner of Pepe jeans, Hackett and Faconnable, registered an advance of more than 20 per cent at the cutoff in April compared to 2022 and a turnover of up to 594M euros (about 651M dollars).
Pepe Jeans is the spearhead of the group and has registered an excellent reception in the European markets, mainly in Germany and France, as well as an advance of 28 per cent in its worldwide online commerce.
Colombia continues to be one of the main markets and centres of interest for foreign brands in the region, from Spanish and American firms to Latin brands.
