Persian Restaurant Belgrave Now Open in Abu Dhabi

A brother-sister duo have opened a new Persian restaurant in the UAE capital, Belgrave, a restaurant brand first born in London. Head chef Amin Ebra and founder Honey Ebra will both run the space, honouring their family’s history of serving the cuisine. In fact, the owners’ grandfather was head chef to the former Persian monarchy.

First opened in London, Belgrave later expanded into Dubai, operating out of the emirate’s Global Village.

Menu-wise, starters include kofta tabrizi, marinated crispy prawns, and smoked grilled aubergine. Mains include the ‘London to Abu Dhabi’ which is a whole lamb neck cooked for more than six hours. There is also an extensive grilled meats section; and in terms of desserts, there is saffrom crème brulee, date pudding, fallodeh and other local dishes.
