PGA Tour Superstore to Continue Expansion

The experiential golf retailer intends to open at least six new stores in 2021 in an attempt to reach their 50 store milestone.

PGA Tour Superstore has already opened their first store of 2021 and thanks to the uptake of golf last year as a result of the global pandemic; the brand intends to open at least five more locations. The year 2020 saw around 60 million more rounds of golf played than the previous year and also saw women and juniors making up a larger proportion of new golfers.

These statics have benefitted PGA Tour Superstore significantly, and the brand saw an 84 per cent increase in sales of women’s club sets along with a 50 per cent overall increase in packaged club sets, a 200 per cent increase in pull/push carts, a 55 per cent increase in stand bags and a 100 per cent increase in practice gear.

Dick Sullivan, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We will continue to gain market share by being innovative and aggressively investing in our brick-and-mortar and online business, while systematically building our presence in golf-centric markets across the country.”
