The Spanish footwear brand has recorded sales of €128M, which is in line with their turnover for 2019.
In an unprecedented year, Pikolinos has managed to maintain their sales for the year 2020, as well as this, the brand’s operating profits remained stable and stood at €11.9M.However, the company’s growth forecast has not been fulfilled, having been massively impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
In 2021, the company has stated that they intend to continue implementing its digitisation plan which they began last year. This plan has already seen a renewal of Pikolino’s operating system and the introduction of the Salesforce tool.
Marcos Vega, Group Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, commented: “The objective is to increase both the adaptation in direct channels and larger and better services to the multi-brand channel. These are medium and long-term projects that will allow the company to keep up-to-date in technology and the ability to adapt to the market. We have to be more agile, more adapted to new circumstances.”
