Pinko Unveils Latest London Store

Located on the iconic Kings Road, this is the brand’s third store in London.

In contrast to previous openings, this store has been created with minimal demolition and reconstruction and thus minimising the amount of waste associated with the building work. PINKO have recycled and reused as much of the existing infrastructure as possible, in order to reduce the store’s impact on the environment. The 65sq m store will be a new PINKO door in the heart of London and has been created to feel like a neighbourhood shop, with the selection of clothes on offer has been carefully curated to suit the iconic style of London’s Kings Road.

In addition to the new store, PINKO will be launching their new Reimagine by Patrick McDowell collaboration, into a newly designated area in Selfridges. The new space will have a specific sustainable focus, showcasing not only the Reimagine collection but also a carefully curated edit made by Patrick McDowell and Caterina Negra of pieces that have an ethical element. Working together, PINKO and Patrick are passionate about looking for innovative ways to lower the impact of the fashion industry and to create a more sustainable approach to consumerism.

Patrick McDowell, commented: “I am so thrilled that Pinko has taken this bold step towards a circular fashion industry. These steps are vital to show that not only can brands save unsold stock, but go one step further by ‘reimagining’ them into new, exciting and relevant collections for their customers.”
