The iconic pizza chain is expanding its reach to Cambodia with the launch of its first store in Phnom Penh this month.
The restaurant will be launching under a franchise agreement with United Food Group, which also owns the Cambodia-based restaurant chain, Park Café. The first store is located in the Russian market, which is also known as the city’s expat and business hub.
The launch of this first restaurant will be followed by two more stores that are set to open in the coming months. Franchise Partner, United Food Group has announced plans to roll out 30 Pizza Hut restaurants in the country over the next three years.
Heng Sengley, Group Chief Executive Officer of Untied Food Group, commented: “We believe that Pizza Hut will be the pizza brand of choice among Cambodians. The number of Cambodians with disposable income is increasing rapidly and they’re looking for brands and products to enhance their modern lifestyle.”
