Major development company Grosvenor has submitted a planning application for the South Molton Triangle.
The plans are looking to transform a historic, but underused part of North Mayfair. The application put forward would encompass two acres that are well-known as the home of Grays Antiques, and include a number of narrow side streets and neglected buildings.
The proposed Triangle would breathe new life into this space by introducing new offices, homes and a 31-bed hotel framed by wide pedestrian-friendly routes and public spaces. New shops, restaurants and cafes would provide a range of services to residents and the wider Oxford Street district.

The plan put forth by Grosvenor would help revive the area by incorporating over 200,000sq ft of Grade A office space and 67,500sq ft of shops, restaurants and cafes offering over 700 new jobs.
Thomasin Renshaw, Director of Development, Grosvenor Britain & Ireland said: “Our proposals for the South Molton Triangle are a sign of our significant confidence in, and commitment to, the future of the West End and Oxford Street district. These designs put pedestrians first in a sustainable scheme that preserves what’s great about Mayfair while bringing the jobs and investment London now needs to see.”
