The Pokémon Company has partnered with Yomiuriland to create the real-life Pokémon Wonder experience in Tokyo, Japan.
Yomiruiland, which first opened in 1964, is Tokyo’s largest amusement park. Their recent partnership with the Pokémon Company will see the pair create a nature-driven attraction, called Pokémon Wonder where visitors can search for Pokémon.
The Pokémon Wonder experience is an ‘amusement park’ that covers an area of 48,000sq ft and is located in untouched forest behind Yomiuriland. It is filled with 50 Pokémon hidden across two courses called ‘Ancient Stone Wall’ and ‘Whispering Bamboo Grove.’ Visitors will become Pokémon researchers and have 90 minutes to search for the hidden creatures, which are made from items such as leaves and acorns.
The nature adventure will start on July 17 and will run until April 3, 2022. Six visitors will be allows on the courses at any one time and will require tickets to partake.
