The brand has opened its 13th store in the US in Philadelphia, marking an ‘important milestone’ in its expansion plans.
The new 34,200sq ft is set to create over 350 jobs and the brand’s latest outlet will open in the Fashion District Philadelphia shopping mall, bringing the total number of Primark stores in Pennsylvania State to three locations.
The brand initially focused on the North-East region, and has opened in Florida and Chicago in recent years. The retailer also signed leases for a new store in Virginia, and has plans to open two new stores in New York.
“We are delighted to welcome Philadelphians to our latest Northeast location in the US, bringing Primark’s unique formula of quality fashion, beauty and homeware with an amazing price tag,” Primark US President Andy Stewart said.
“Our Fashion District store will mark another important milestone in our ongoing expansion in the US and bringing our Amazing Fashion at Amazing Prices to more and more customers.”
