The store, which spans two storeys and covers a gross leasable area of more than 6,000sq m, marks the first Primark store located within a Carmila shopping centre in France.
The opening of Primark represents a significant milestone in the commercial relaunch of Cité Europe. Last year, the centre underwent a period of restructuring by Carmila and Carrefour Property. The two replaced nine entrances, refurbished the rest areas and created a new 70sq m play area which features a 12 metre high slide, perfect for keeping younger children entertained.
Alongside this, the food services area, Cité Gourmande was renovated and offers more natural lighting as a result of the new glass canopies, a refreshed façade and a more streamlines and efficient layout.
