All Primark stores across England are expected to reopen when lockdown ends on December 2, and the company has announced that 11 of these will open 24 hours that day.
Upon reopening, Primark is expecting to see a higher customer demand ahead of the holiday season; therefore extended trading hours will apply to all of its stores with store locations in retail parks and other major shopping centres expected to operate until 10pm or even midnight.
Those stores expected to take part in the 24 hour shopping day include locations at Trafford, York Monks Cross, Leeds White Rose, Bluewater, Lakeside, Birmingham Fort, Meadowhall, Stratford, White City, Charlton and Gateshead Metrocentre.
Paul Marchant, Primark Chief Executive, commented: “We are delighted to reopen our stores in England on 2 December, with longer shopping hours to give our customers more time to safely do their festive shopping. We have everything this season that our customers expect from Primark, including our famous Christmas jumpers, festive pyjamas and much, much more.”
