Primark to Open First Hungary Store

The international fashion retailer is preparing to open its first store in the Hungarian capital of Budapest.

Expected to open in Primark’s next financial year (September 16 2023 – September 15 2024), the new store will be situated in Budapest’s Arena Mall.

The move comes following successful store openings across Slovenia, Poland, Czech Republic and more recently Romania and this new store demonstrates Primark’s continued investment and commitment to the Central and Eastern Europe region. Plans have been announced that the retailer intends to also in Slovakia later this year and Hungrary will become Primark’s sixth market in the CEE and 17th market globally.

Arena Mall is the perfect location to introduce customers in Hungary to Primark’s amazing fashion and everyday essentials at great value prices, as well as our unique store concept. We’ve had a great reaction to our other stores in the CEE region and we know our customers in Hungary will love what we have to offer,” said Maciej Podwojski, Head of Sales, CEE at Primark.
