A destination that combines tech-infused mini-golf with food and drink in a high-energy environment continues to expand its US footprint.
Puttshack, whose creators include the founders of Topgolf, has signed a lease to open at Southdale Center, in Edina, Minnesota. The new outpost is expected to open in spring of 2024.
The more than 25,000sq ft space will feature four highly competitive, tech-driven nine-hole mini golf courses powered by the brand’s patented Trackaball technology, which keeps score for players throughout the game. The technology is integrated throughout the game experience, with seamless automated scoring, bonus point opportunities, interactive games at each hole and more.
Spanning across two floors, the space will also include two full-service bars and an expansive outdoor patio with seating for up to 100 guests. A private event space with a capacity of 80 will be available as well.
“Upscale, experiential brands like Puttshack are exactly the type of stand-out offerings we’re committed to bringing to this community as we forge forward with the progressive transformation of Southdale Center,” said Judy Tullius, General Manager, Southdale Center, part of Simon Property Group.
Puttshack’s plans for the Twin Cities area also include a 20,000sq ft location in Minneapolis’ North Loop District neighbourhood, which will open in late 2024.
