Radisson Targets Five New Resorts by 2025

Radisson, one of the world’s largest hotel groups with a portfolio of nine distinctive brands, plans to debut an additional five resort locations across the Middle East by 2025.

The group plans to open its first beach resort property in Dubai – Radisson Resort Dubai Palm Jumeirah – which is set to open on Palm Jumeirah in Q2, 2022. The hotel will bring together 389 rooms and five impressive F&B dining outlets that will overlook the Dubai Marina skyline and the Gulf.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also remains a key location for the Group’s resort portfolio, primed by the opening of Nofa Resort Riyadh, A Radisson Collection Hotel. The hotel group has announced two more signings – Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Italat and Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Shalalah.

Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Italat will consist of 135 keys, including rooms and villas to cater to guests looking for larger or longer stay accommodation. Meanwhile, Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Shalalah will feature 120 keys, offering customers serviced apartments and villas.

Elie Milky, Vice President Business Development, Middle East, Cyprus, Greece and Pakistan, Radisson Hotel Group, said: “Many travellers are finding an ever-growing appeal in resort experiences while resort travel has gained rapid demand. The pandemic has accelerated that even further. As a result, we are thoughtfully expanding the product in key markets with strategic investors and partners.”
