Raffles Resort to Open on Palm Jumeirah

Set to open in the fourth quarter of 2021, this will be the first resort from the luxury hotel chain situated in the Middle East.

Sat within a 100,000sq m landscape on the West Crescent of the man-made Palm Jumeirah, the stunning and highly-anticipated hotel will boast views of the sea and city skyline. The hotel will feature 389 rooms, suites and villas, with each featuring a balcony and terrace. A number of private villas located on the beach are also expected to be available.

Amenities at the hotel will include the 3,000sq m Cinq Mondes Spa, a Parisian brand that is new to the Dubai region. The spa will include 23 treatment rooms, two private spa suites and, according to the developers, the city’s largest indoor swimming pool. A 500 metre of stretch of private beach will be accessible to guests and the beach club will offer Mediterranean cuisine, entertainment and more.

Mark Willis, Chief Executive of Accor India, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, which owns the Raffles brand, commented: “This is a very exciting opportunity for us. There are very few beach resort plots left in Dubai and none of the Palm Jumeirah. The size of the property and its location perfectly lend itself to provide a prestigious address for the Raffles brand.”
