Raley’s keeps expanding its footprint in California.

The supermarket operator opened a 35,000 sq ft store in Rancho Murieta, California, which is located in Sacramento County. It’s the second location Raley’s has opened since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, following a flagship that opened in April in Sacramento’s Land Park neighborhood.

Built in partnership with Murieta Marketplace Associates, the store features energy-efficient LED lighting throughout. Solar panels encompass the entire roof of the building. It also boasts some unique features reflective of the local community, including 13 golf cart parking spaces and four one-of-a-kind agriculture and golf-themed art pieces by local artist Jeff Meyers.
