The store is located at CF Toronto Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto.
Covering a space of just over 650sq ft, the store is adorned with Ray-Ban’s signature red colour signage as well as a branded interior featuring a huge selection of sunglasses and frames. Until recently, customers have only been able to purchase Ray-Bans through second-party multi-brand retailers which included Sunglass Hut, Hakim Optical, Sport Chek, Pearle Vision, LenseCrafters as well as a number of independent retailers.
Despite this move into direct-to-consumer it is still expected that the brand will utilise a number of multi-brand retailers alongside their own store locations.
This new store is acting as a test store for the brand within the market, and should this be a success, the retailer intends to open more Ray-Ban stores in the Canadian market.
