London’s favourite vegan restobar, Redemption has relaunched its Seven Dials site with a brand new Head Chef and menus.
The new and improved Redemption Bar continues to focus on vegetables, and the infinite ways in which they can be spiced and cooked to create guilt-free taste sensations. From simple yet satisfying starters and sides such as broad bean and avocado hummus with cassava shards and toasted amaranth seeds (£6.50), bbq cauliflower wings (£7) and lemon & pumpkin mac and cheese (£6), to larger main options including Brazilian tofish moqueca (£15), a Brussels sprouts and purple kale winter Caesar salad (£12), bbq pulled jackfruit with smashed avo, chipotle carrot cheese, tapioca chard and pitta bread ( £14), and a vibrant selection of nutritious bowls (£11-£12), Erich’s mouth-watering new plant-based menu has something for everyone. For dessert, lemon polenta cake with vanilla cream, dried strawberries and purple corn ice cream (£5.50) – as well as other intriguing combinations – also graces the menu.
Redemption Bar is widely known for its refreshing take on alcohol-free drinks, and the bar will pick up where it left off, with a selection of stunning mocktails, including a Cucumbertini and Apple Mockito, along with smoothies and juices, named Retrieval, Repossession, Rescue and Recovery, which are all priced between £5.50 and £7.50. From next week, the innovative drinks offering will also include some alcoholic options for the very first time, with wine, beer and concoctions such ascoconutty Espresso Martini (£9.95) and the beetroot and carrot Redemption Bloody Mary, with grated horseradish and smoked plum infused quinoa vodka, making an appearance (all vegan, of course).
