The popular home grown Dubai-based restaurant is set to open six more outlets in the UAE, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Among the planned new locations is a new mini licensed version of the concept at the upcoming Time Out Market in Dubai at the Souk Al Bahar which is set to open in the first quarter of this year. Following this, May will see the expansion of the brand’s original Dar Wasl Mall location. The mall location will introduce the bakery and breakfast café, showcasing Reif Othman’s trademark cakes and more.
May will also see the opening of the very first franchised Reif Japanese Kushiyaki in Cairo, with a further three franchised locations planned for Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, with the first set to open later this year.
Ahsan Kahlon, Co-Owner, Reif Japanese Kushiyaki, and Othman’s Business Partner, commented: “It was always our intention to expand the Reif Japanese Kushiyaki brand regionally and internationally. In light of the pandemic, we have been able to negotiate compelling deals with landlords and franchisees, allowing us to take the concept further afield in the UAE, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.”
