Reliance Retail’s Reliance Brands Limited has launched the first Armani/Caffe in India, an eatery by Italian luxury fashion business Armani.
The café has opened within Mumbai’s Jio World Plaza mall, which is also owned by Reliance Retail.
“Mumbai, get ready to dine in style as India’s first Armani/Caffe has arrived,” announced Reliance Brands Limited on Facebook, sharing images of the space. “Located beside the Giorgio Armani boutique, this new spot features a sophisticated Italian ambiance with muted blues, elegant palm motifs and a menu that marries classic Italian flavours with innovative techniques. Come sip, savour and treat yourself to extraordinary dining today!”
The eatery follows Armani’s classic, luxury Italian style branding with a mix of grey and gold hues and softly illuminated shelving. Patrons can dine on Italian classic recipes or sit at the bar and enjoy the selection of spirits.
“Another dream takes shape as we open our doors to India’s first and world’s fifth Armani/Caffe, proud of what the team has achieved here,” wrote Reliance Brands Limited’s Head of Hamleys and Pret India Sumeet Yadav on Linkedin.
The Armani/Caffe launch both deepens Reliance Brands Limited’s connection to Armani and bolsters Jio World Plaza’s selection of high-end restaurants. Armani/Caffe joins Si Nonna’s, Ladurée and Café&Meal Muji at the mall in Bandra Kurla Complex.
