The Dutch fragrance and cosmetics chain is planning to open a dozen stores in Spain in 2022, replicating its 2021 expansion figures.
Rituals now has a presence in almost thirty markets through more than 700 establishments and its activity in Spain and Portugal is managed through the subsidiary Rituals Cosmetics Ibérica, created in 2016. The launch of an additional 12 new stores will see the brand heading for 100 of its own stores in Spain.
Raquel Alvarez, Director of Marketing and E-Commerce, commented: “During the last year we have opened 10 new stores, executed two closures and carried out 10 relocations of existing establishments to larger and better located premises. In 2022, we are once again planning a large investment in opening our own points of sale. The idea is to repeat the figures for 2021.”
Alongside their expansion plans, Rituals has just obtained B Corp certification, a rigorous standard that has become a benchmark sustainability certification around the world.
