Roka Set to Open Doors in Riyadh

Set to be located on the new Tahlia Gate, the 5,629sq ft venue can seat up to 161 diners inside and an additional 82 covers on the urban oasis terrace.

Roka is a leading restaurant in robatayaki cuisine and their new Roka Riyadh location will offer diners their award-winning Japanese robatayaki concept and unique style of contemporary Japanese cooking. The heart of the restaurant and menu is the robata grill, a traditional Japanese cooking method which was inspired by fisherman cooking over charcoal on boats of Northern coastal water off Japan.

The menu will consist of dishes such as kankoku fu kohitsuji (lamb cutlets seasoned with Korean spices and sesame cucumber), and the yakitori-negima yaki (grilled chicken skewers with spring onion) and other signature dishes including sake no taru taru, kampachi and kampachi sashimi no salada.

Rainer Becker, Co-Founder and Creator, commented: “After such a warm reception in Dubai, we are extremely excited to launch our second GCC location in Riyadh and showcase the Roka experience to the community. The launch of Saudi Seasons cultural events has been used as a springboard for many brands to make moves into the Kingdom, and we have plans to launch Roka’s sister restaurant Zuma 2022.”
