The new Saudi Company for Hardware (SACO) store is located in Jeddah City.
The Al Jamiah district houses the new store which occupies a space of 5517sq m. The news of this new store location expands the SACO store network to at least 35 points of sale across 18 cities in the Kingdom. Although for many brands, the COVID-19 pandemic has been a reason to halt their expansion plans, this doesn’t seem to have been the case for the hardware store who has seen a surge in their sales partly due to the implantation of VAT in the Kingdom.
In comparison to the same period last year, the company has reported that their net profit has increased by 52.7 per cent to 33.14 million Saudi riyals.
