The latest location will open in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas in early summer 2021.
Sandbox is a futuristic VR experience for groups of up to 6 people where you can see and physically interact with everyone inside, just like the real world. Inspired by Star Trek’s Holodeck, Sandbox’s exclusive worlds let visitors feels like they are living inside a game or a move.
Despite an exceptionally difficult year in 2020, Sandbox is feeling optimistic for the future and has experienced a 30 per cent increase in demand from before the pandemic. Steve Zhao, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sandbox VR, commented: “The pandemic has been so isolating for everyone that we are confident once it is safe to gather with friends and family from different households they will be looking for social experiences that offer some fun and escape from the difficulties that 2020 brought.”
The brand is committed to health and safety and private rooms and sanitised equipment are available for each group to use. Bookings are also currently limited.
