The design for Saudi Arabia’s new super-luxury airport, located on the northwestern coast has now been unveiled. The concept of the design is derived from the optical illusion of a mirage.
The architecture firm, Foster + Partners designed both the terminal and control tower, with the airport due for completion in 2023. The airport will feature climate-controlled hangars for private jets as well as a ground transfer service that is accessible from inside the arrival area.
