Sepiia Launches Outlet Format

The smart fashion firm, known for its garments that do not stain or wrinkle, has launched a ‘sample sale’ in its Madrid store.

Defined as a circular brand, Sepiia was founded in 2016 in the online retail space by Federico Sainz de Robles. Since inception, the brand has based its proposal on garments that do not stain or wrinkle, and although it was initially focused on male garments, it has gradually opened up to women’s and children’s ranges.

The brand, which has an e-commerce flagship, has broadened its distribution capabilities by last year entering onto platforms such as Zalando and the El Corte Inglés marketplace. The brand opened their Madrid store last December at Calle Hortaleza.

Typically, Sepiia does not host sales or even participate in discount holidays such as Black Friday, an initiative that is outlined in its sustainability and circularity strategy. They say: “Since resourced, water and Co2 have been invested in creating these garments, they also deserve someone who enjoys them and gets the most out of them before sending them for recycling.”

However, the brand has marketed that until the end of this week, February 13, a selection of sample items, prototypes or items with small defects with discounts reaching 60 per cent will be available at the store.
