The new location claims to be Asia’s first eco-lifestyle destination.
Siam Piwat, a Bangkok-based retail and development company best known for managing Siam Center has launched Ecotopia, a new eco-lifestyle store carrying a collection of eco-friendly and health-oriented products.
Located at Siam Discovery and occupying 2000sq m, the store features more than 300 brands across eight different zones; these include the Hygienic Zone which offers household products made from natural and biodegradable materials, the Green Zone which offers customers gardening supplies and plants, a Healthy Zone where customers can purchase organic food and a Beautiful Zone which offers personal-care products.
The Up-Cycled Zone displays products with renewed value through recycling; the Stylish Zone offers fashion items and a clothing swap area where customers can exchange clothes for new garments. The Kind Zone has a specific emphasis on generating income for local communities by selling local handicraft pieces. Customers are also encouraged to refill their own containers with household products and food items in the Zero Waste zone.
