Six Senses to Enter into Japan

The luxury hotel brand is entering the Japanese market with the launch of their newly announced property Six Senses Kyoto, which will open to guests in 2024.

Six Senses Kyoto will enjoy a prime location in Kyoto, which is historically the largest city in the country and is still through to be the heart of Japan. The city is famed for its Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines, palaces, traditional Japanese architecture and beautiful cherry gardens and the hotel will provide an urban sanctuary for guests to recharge and relax.

BLINK Design Group, known for their visionary thinking, has been brought on board to bring the Six Senses values to life through elegant design work. The interiors of the hotel boast simples line contrasted with earthy organic tones that work together to create a calming and welcoming vibe.

Once completed, the hotel will bring together a total of 81 guestrooms that are organised around a central courtyard, connecting guests to nature through biophilic design.
