Slim’s to Launch in Australia

The site was designed by Landini Associates and it reinvents retro in in its design debut for the new burger brand.

The internationally renowned design firm recognised for innovative restaurant environments, Landini Associates, has announced the debut of the firm’s retro-inspired concept for six new Slim’s Quality Burger restaurants in Australia. With plans to roll out nationally, Slim’s Quality Burger will offer three ways for customers to enjoy the Slim’s experience: drive-in, drive-through and eat-in. The new brand’s three founders, who gained fame for creating Betty’s Burgers, launched Slim’s with a simple mission: “to serve affordable and simple burgers that are also delicious.”

The first restaurant to open, in the popular Marrickville Metro retail centre in Sydney’s innerwest suburbs, celebrates its debut this month. “Slim’s Quality Burger is a fun, fresh place that engages customers in new ways,” says Paul Gates, Design Director for Landini Associates. “Our new design concept for Slim’s is all about bringing people and great food together in a modern, magnetic place recalling the friendly excitement and energy of drive-up restaurants from the post-war era.”
