SPAR Hungray Invests in Expansion Programme

The brand has opened a new SPAR City store in Budapest and has also modernised supermarkets in East-Budapest and Eger as part of its ongoing expansion programme.

With a total investment of €3.9M across the three stores, the retailer intends to provide customers easier access to the entire product range. All three of the stores provide products that accommodate special dietary needs and an expansive range of SPAR convenience items.

The renovated stores in East-Budapest and Eger now feature a SPAR to Go unit, meeting growing demands for on-the-go options and the newly opened SPAR City store is the first FMCG store in BudaPart – the newest quarter in the Hungarian capital of Budapest. The latest SPAR store offering is equipped with self-checkouts, energy-saving LED lighting systems and eco-friendly technologies.
