Following five years of construction, the St James Quarter development has officially announced that it will welcome its first visitors from Thursday June 24, 2021.
The highly-anticipated St James Quarter in the city of Edinburgh has been designed to provide a safe, convenient and relaxing environment for shoppers. In keeping with safety precautions regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, the development provides natural ventilation throughout, easy to access public routes and connectivity to key streets.
The phase one opening launching from June 24 will see both global and local brands brought together to provide a convenient and luxurious offering. Brands including Zara, Mango, Pull & Bear, Rituals, H&M, Kurt Geiger, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Dune, Bross Bagels and Salerno Pizza are all featured at St James Quarter.
A number of exciting brands are also making their Scottish debut including Peleton, Bonnie & Wild, & Other Stores, Bershka and Stradivarius.
Nick Peel, Managing Director of St James Quarter, commented: “While we won’t have the usual fanfare on June 24 and it will be more of a soft launch, we make no apologies for that. Unfortunately we can’t have thousands of people showing up for the opening as that would be wrong and improper in this climate. But it is a phased approach. There are a handful of brands that we haven’t announced yet that are absolute game changers.”
