Staples is bringing its reimagined store format that puts a spotlight on co-working, podcasting and community event spaces to Los Angeles and Maine.
Located in downtown Los Angeles and Auburn, Maine, these stores have been designed to offer interactive displays of tools for remote work, and feature office set-ups for remote work tools and airplane seats to test products such as laptop trays and travel luggage.
The new Los Angeles store features products and services that will include a ‘try-before-you-buy’ shopping experience as well as an in-store application service that enables customers to obtain TSA Precheck status for streamlines check-in at over 200 airports.
Meanwhile, the Maine store brings together a new assortment of wellness products. It will also have a dedicated Staples co-working space that is opening for enrolment in the fall.
Marshall Warkentin, Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer, Staples US Retail, said: “These two Staples Connect store locations were designed to meet the unique needs of the specific communities they reside in. No matter where or how our customers choose to work and learn, we designed these stores to house all of the resources they need to remain successful.”
