Starbucks Unveils Greener Store Flagship

The company has unveiled its largest Greener Store in Thailand, located at the newly opened One Bangkok complex, marking its fourth flagship in the country.

A Greener Store is an outlet that follows a standard on water conservation, energy efficiency and waste reduction.

Emmy Kan, President, Starbucks Asia Pacific, said the brand aims to honour its environmental promise to give more than take. “This milestone store is a testament to the strength of our partnership with Coffee Concepts Thailand and our shared journey toward a resource-positive future,” said Kan.

Spanning over 860sq m, the two-storey Starbucks Reserve One Bangkok is designed sustainably, featuring the country’s first comprehensive in-store recycling area, energy-efficient systems and sustainable materials. In addition, there’s a condiment area that encourages customers to rinse leftover drinks, clean their cups and dispose of waste properly, promoting responsible disposal practices.

Beyond its environmental initiatives, the cafe celebrates Thai coffee culture and the natural landscapes of Northern Thailand, where coffee is grown.
