Stranger Things Experience Transports Guests to the Upside Down

New York is home to the new experience where guests are invited to take part in a study at Hawkins Lab before meeting the show’s iconic Demogorgon.

Situated at the Duggal Greenhouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the new experience celebrates the release of Stranger Things season 4, which airs today, Friday 27 May. The interactive experience takes guests to the upside down, and features immersive sets, special effects, a new storyline, special merchandise, photo opportunities and dining options.

The attraction features iconic locations from Hawkins, and after returning from the Upside Down and meeting a Demogorgon, visitors can enter an area called the Mix-Tape, which is a recreation of the show’s Starcout Mall and has been fitted out with an ice cream offering at Scoops Ahoy and pizza at Surfer Boy Pizza. The Mix-Tape also houses the Palace Arcade.

George Anthony, Tour General Manager explains: “When you come into the Mix-Tape, as you walk around, you see a lot of familiar things, but you also see some new elements. So we have Hellfire Club, which is a new element in season four. We have Surfer Boy Pizza and also Rink-O-Mania.”
